First Day of School 2011

I did a terrible job of documenting the first day of school this year. Didn't even remember until the kids got home from school, and even then Derek and Dustin got left out. It's embarrassing!

SC Trip and water park

We made a quick trip to SC before school started. While we were there, Kaylee tried out Grandpa's outdoor shower, we spent a day at Discovery Island, and we celebrated Grandma Leckie's birthday.

The annual ward youth back-to-school creek activity. The rope swing is a big hit, even though the water in Econfina is COLD!

Drive to Utah with Emily and kids

I had the pleasure of taking an "all-expense paid vacation" to Utah at the end of July. I accompanied Emily and her children (very cute traveling companions) on a 4 day trip to their new home in Springville. Dan went ahead with his dad and the moving truck while we made more frequent stops and arrived a day and a half behind them. After a few days of unpacking and a nice visit to the temple, they flew me back to Florida. It was a really good time.
