Random pictures from June

Bosco is our neighbor's dog that Kaylee walks several times a week.  When Gail went out of town, Bosco spent some extra time with us.
It's hard to see, but that's Kaylee's soccer team out on the field.  Panama City has a new professional soccer team, The Pirates, and they invited the BCYSA championship teams to walk out with them before the game.
Just a random picture of me.
Some dead chickens and Roger's butcher station.  Kind of gross and time consuming, but  these weren't laying much anymore.
The kids happened to see this turtle laying eggs in front of our house.
One of many puzzles we have been doing.  Dustin brought home A LOT of puzzles that a teacher at school was planning to send to Goodwill.  Many of them are 500 or 1000 piece ones, so the puzzle table is pretty much always out for now!

One of those random posts....

Kaylee really wanted a picture with her balloon. She kept blowing it up over and over and letting it fly all over the house. Each time, it got bigger and bigger, but eventually the pressure was just too much for it!
An osprey that we have started seeing around the pond occasionally.
Kaylee's project for "Charlotte's Web." She did all of the work at school with a friend (I like that kind of project!)
Our garden is growing! Of course I took these pictures late in the evening, so you can't see very well, but it's still exciting!
Derek & Dustin after their band concert. Dustin was slouching a little, but Derek really is towering over him these days!
Dad and the boys also went on the father/son camp out this weekend. I forgot to send the camera, though.

Soccer is over!! The kids have had a great time this season, but we are all ready for a break! Here are a couple of pictures from Kaylee's soccer party. The camera didn't make it to the others for some reason!
Roger at the ward fish fry. I just had to capture the expression he gives me when I break out the camera. He loves it!!

Brandon's first soccer game

Brandon is #7. This video really doesn't do justice to how funny it was to watch him at his first soccer game. During this clip, he was at least paying attention to the ball, and he seemed to know that he was supposed to stay in the same general location. I guess he figured he would just play when the ball came to him. We love the little kick at the end. Throughout the game, he was full of theatrics and it was semi-hilarious, semi-mortifying to sit and watch the game. He spent a fair amount of time battling with invisible light sabers, covertly aiming finger guns at the other team, and in a dramatic finish, crawling on the nets during his time as goalie. I'm not sure soccer is his thing, but he's having fun!

Soccer Teams

Here are a couple of pictures I took of Derek & Dustin with their soccer teams. They are both really enjoying their season so far.

First soccer games of the season

This past Saturday was the first day of games for the new soccer season. Here are a few pictures from our day at the fields.Dustin's game
Derek got kicked in the side while he was down, so he wasn't very happy after his game.
This is how Kaylee & Brandon prefer to spend their time.

A refreshing way to cool down after a hot day. I like it!!
