Derek turned 13 on Friday. This makes me feel really old! To celebrate his big day, he had a couple of friends over to spend the night. He requested a chocolate chip cookie dough cheesecake - yummy! He is sprouting up fast and continues to be a great kid.

You'll have to tell Derek we're sorry we didn't even call or send an e-card. Probably doesn't help to say that I DID think about it. I did NOT however realize that he was turning 13...crazy!
I can not believe all big the kids are. You sure look young for having a teen in the house!
