Derek's crabbing adventure

Some friends in the ward offered to take Derek and his friend Kyle snorkeling and crabbing.  They had a good time - and the crab was yummy!

Visit to Topeka to see Jody

Roger and I flew out to Kansas for a few days to visit with Roger's mom, Jody, and to bring home a truck and dining room table.  This was our last visit with Jody and we were so glad to have some nice time together.  We took her out to the Tulip Festival one day, which she enjoyed very much.

Jody's expression pretty much says it all.  She really wasn't too happy with the way her body was failing on her.  This was right before we left, and is the last picture we have of Roger and his mom.

Random March pictures

Brandon had to have some lab work done.  He was very brave!

Roger, Dustin, & Derek at the Atlanta Temple during spring break

The Superman ride at Six Flags malfunctioned and left the boys hanging face down for quite a while.

The pool is open for business again on March 23rd.

Dustin's first paycheck - he is a soccer referee for BCYSA on Saturdays.

Eggs are coming in a wide variety of sizes these days!

Dustin and Ben - biking on dirt hills

Dustin and his friend, Ben, have discovered a nice dangerous place to ride their bikes.

Kaylee's 11th birthday

Kaylee's friends were not told to wear green, but apparently it is the "in" color, so there was a lot of it.  Kaylee is certainly a green freak lately.  Her room is even painted bright green!

Not the prettiest cake I've ever done, but it tasted good!  (We were using some leftover real whipped cream).

Strange place to find an Eagle

We are fortunate enough to enjoy steaks every now and then, courtesy of Roger's parents and their cows.  Tonight Dustin discovered our national emblem in his t-bone.  (We are using this picture as evidence to convince Dustin that he needs to brush his teeth better!)
