Sara & Jared Ridges - Wedding

Sara and Jared were married in the Columbia South Carolina Temple.  They timed it near our family reunion, so all of the siblings were able to be there.  Such a fun couple!!

We found some eggs near the wood pile. They finally hatched, and Roger says they're blue-tailed skinks.  

July Randomness with Brandon and the animals

One of Brandon's souvenirs from "Splash Camp" at Southport Elem.  He went for one week in July.  This is his "flip flop book"

Brandon's flip flop book opened up.  He did the decorating of course.

Dustin says Goodbye to Rio

We don't have any idea why Rio died, but apparently his time had come.  Dustin had just been playing with him earlier and he seemed fine.  We are pretty accustomed to losing pets around here, though.  

No, the kids didn't dress up for the funeral.  They buried him on a Sunday.

Dustin carved a rather fancy headstone from an edge of our old coffee table.

Another Fishing Trip - Kaylee, Brandon, & Dustin

They didn't catch too many fish, but they had fun (and the ones they caught were delicious!)

Brandon caught the largest fish of the day.  He was very proud!
