Brandon's 4th grade Bus Stop Routine
This year, Brandon is the only one at the Elementary School, so he gets some one-on-one time with mom every morning. He rides his bike up, mom catches up eventually, we work on an article of faith or math facts and then mom rides the bike back home :).

Lynn Haven Youth Creek Activity 2012
It's been an annual tradition for the youth to go to the Econfina Creek every August and enjoy the spring-fed river for a while. It's super cold, and the rope swing is really high, but it's always a good time.
I almost didn't include this one because it's so unflattering, but I was quite proud of myself for doing the rope swing off the dock - even if I did hold my nose!

17th Anniversary - Destin
Roger had a voucher for a free hotel stay, so we took off and went to Destin for our 17th Anniversary. We ate at a Japanese Restaurant, walked on the beach, and enjoyed a night away!

Brandon's Butterfly Facts
When Brandon got back to school this year, he was excited to see a new bulletin board outside near the butterfly garden. It is made up of facts that Brandon and another student compiled last year as part of a special project when they were in 3rd grade.

Helping the Milton Family unpack in Jonesboro
Emily and Dan's new house in Arkansas. Kaylee and I drove over from Gatlinburg after the family reunion to help them move in. It was a lot of fun!!
Emily's kids decided to have a campout under the bed. They even pulled the crib mattress under there and Caitlyn was sleeping in the tiny space between the mattress and the bottom of the bed.
Kaylee was invaluable in keeping the kids busy so Emily and I could unpack!!
Matchy matchy - and not even on purpose! Their mothers must both shop at the same clearance rack :).

Leckie Family Recital
Since most of the Grandchildren were in town, Grandpa thought it would be nice to have a Leckie Family Recital. There was lots of great talent and everyone did a nice job!
Derek is really excited for his chance to perform.
